Speaker 1 (00:08):
In this video, I'm going to show you how to create your own copy, work, or handwriting pages with the pro school publisher. Now up in the more info link at the top, right? I have uploaded a copy work PDF for you, and this will show you the sample font sizes for our pro school print font and the pro school cursive font. This way you can print that out and match it up to what is a comfortable size font for your student. I'm going to go into the workspace here. I have created a copy work project, uh, with one page. Uh, so far I have Abraham Lincoln's image and a headline Gettysburg address, copy work. So I'm going to go to the text panel now, and I'm going to choose our lines for this project. So for this first project page, we're going to use the copy work, text regular lines. So you just click that option and it will fill your page with lines. I'm going to grab the handles of that object and resize it to fit in our area at the top here.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Then you will double click to add your text and I've already copied my texts. I'm just going to paste it, but you would probably type yours in there. I want to select all of that text and the size that I want to use is 44. So I'm just going to adjust the font right here to 44. And you'll notice in here we only have two options. We have pro school print and pro school cursive. So for the first one, we're going to use the print. So here's the sample for my student to copy. And at the bottom, I want to place some lines for his own copy. So I can go back now and click copy, work texts, regular lines, and do the same thing, resize it to fit the area and then adjust the size to the same number, which was 44. Now, a little quicker way to have done that.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Let me go ahead and delete. This would be to click on your original and then just go up here to copy and paste, and then drag that down here to the bottom Tableau, click select all of the texts delete, and now you have the same size lines. So either way, whichever whichever way works for you. All right, so we're back to our thumbnails. So this is page one with regular lines using a print font. So now I went and create the same page again, but this time I want to use the cursive font and the primary lines. So I wanted to go ahead and our duplication tool to duplicate the page. So now I'm on page two and going to delete both sets of lines. I will go back to that text panel this time I'm going to choose primary lines and again, adjust the lines to fit inside of the area. Double click to add my text and this time I want to use cursive and the line size for this one will be 40

Speaker 1 (03:52):
And then I can create a second set of lines below. I can either copy paste the selection at the top and then delete the text. Or we can go over here and click again on the copy, work, text primary lines, adjusted to fit the area and then Choose the same size font as we did before. So now I can create my PDF version, go up to the top click PDF

Speaker 2 (04:25):

Speaker 1 (04:34):
And here's what the final version looks like. So now I can save this to my computer and print.
