Are these physical products or downloads?
All of our notebooking and planning pages are digital (PDF) downloads. Our software tools are accessible with a computer and internet connection.

What style of homeschooling works best with your products?
Our products accommodate any subject and style of homeschooling.

We personally follow a Classical Charlotte Mason model in our home (traditional classical, not neo-classical). That being said, our products work great with other approaches as well... Unit Study Method, Traditional Method, Unschooling, and more.

Our primary goal at Productive Homeschooling is to help you make oral narration and written narration (through notebooking) a regular part of your homeschool day. We have found narration and the natural approach to language arts are the most "productive" and effective use of our time. They build immeasurable learning skills in your children. Our notebooking pages and apps make these practices easier to implement (especially when working with multiple children).

Will notebooking work well for large families?
Yes! Our products 'fit the family' and 'fit the budget'. We have ten children and have homeschooled all of them for most (if not all) of their educational years. My number one tip is to combine your children's studies as much as possible. One of the reasons notebooking works so well for our family is that we can all do it together at the same time. Notebooking meets the child right where they are in their level of education and their level of interest. Our notebooking products offer a variety of everything from layouts to the types of lines and number of lines on a page so that each product will fit a variety of children at the same time.

This site has given me so many options. It has also enabled me to have more fun time with her and her brothers and not be so stressed over planning.

I was thrilled to find your site. I had been searching for different ideas to use with my daughter that are more creative. This site has given me so many options. It has also enabled me to have more fun time with her and her brothers and not be so stressed over planning. As a lifetime member I love the fact that future updates are included with no additional charge. I am getting ready to start the Colonial times with her and focus on the Revolutionary War so that she can understand why we have the freedoms we do today and why it is important to ensure that her children have them as well.

Our Homeschool Story

Do you wrestle with these questions? I did!

  • What's the MEASURE of your homeschooled child's SUCCESS?
  • Will he graduate with MORE than a piece of paper that says,"I AM EDUCATED."
  • How much has he TRULY learned? How much will he REMEMBER?
  • Does he have a LOVE of learning that DRIVES him to be a LIFE-LONG, SELF-TAUGHT learner?
  • <<< Click the video to hear our story.
